A Practice for Reconnecting with Your Inner Knowing
When the world feels loud and your own voice feels distant, this gentle practice creates space to listen inward again.

Why This Helps
Your inner knowing hasn't disappeared — it's simply harder to hear when your nervous system is flooded with external demands, noise, and urgency. This practice creates a spacious place where your body's signals can rise to the surface without being rushed or overridden.

Find Stillness First
Sit or lie down somewhere you won't be interrupted. Close your eyes or soften your gaze. Notice your breath without changing it. Let your body settle for a few moments. Stillness isn't about forcing calm — it's about giving your system permission to rest long enough to listen.

Ask a Gentle Question
When you feel ready, bring a question to mind — something you've been carrying or trying to figure out. Ask it silently, then let it drop into your body rather than staying in your thoughts. Notice where the question lands: your chest, your belly, your throat. You're not looking for words yet.

Listen Without Forcing
Stay with the sensations that arise. A tightness, a softening, a pull in one direction. Your body speaks in feelings before words. If nothing comes, that's okay — sometimes the answer is simply 'not yet.' Trust that your inner knowing will surface when it's ready.

What to Expect
The first few times, you may notice more noise than clarity. That's normal. Reconnecting with your inner knowing is a practice of attunement, not a one-time event. Over time, the space between the question and the knowing gets shorter. Be patient with yourself as you rebuild this trust.
